| your new shot is better. There is much more of a sense of "looking." this would have been one of my personal ribbons if I had voted in this challenge. |

| avg. 5.4229? 136th place? Seems that many people don't took the time that was needed to understand your shot. I expected this to be a top 20 entry. I just can't understand why so many people always prefer the "standard cliché shot" over someting like this. Keep up your great work! |

| I like the different approach here. Not just a silhouette. Great leading line and DOF. The title is perfect as well. That grassy frond over the "eye" is a nice textural touch. |

| Very creative! Something is amiss here though. I cant tell if things are slightly out of focus on the tree or if the colors have been messed with in a bad way, but something is not very appealing. |

| Very nicely balanced composition, the trunk is very interesting with the eye and the grass grains sneaking into the frame. The other side with the trail, nicely blurred, has interest as well. All this interest begins to become dangerously close to being too busy, but fortunately doesn't cross that line yet. Of course, the condensing to the 640 pixel real estate doesn't help that much. Maybe a bit more of the grassy side to help balance the composition a little more. |

| Cute shot, title is perfect too. He even has an eyebrow! I like the bokeh, the lighting and focus are right on. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Cool, he's even got an eyebrow. I want to see the whole of the foreground in sharp focus - there's something about the bark part of the pic that's not 'comfortable' to my eye. The background does nothing for you here. 5 |

| Cute, creative...very nice. Quite the unique tree! Nice use of DOF to allow the viewer to travel the path to the right but not make it intrusive to the composition. |
