This image really stood out to me during voting. I didn't have enough time to finish voting, but it would have pulled a 9 from me.
Oddly, it's an image that I like more than others that I would have voted 10 on.
I have a strong feeling that the things I don't like about the DPC presentation of this pic are inherent to the DPC presentation only. I would imagine that they are not present in the original.
Very nicely spotted and pulled off. |

Great way to make your shot stand out. Nice colors and pleasant minimalist feel to this shot that is really enhanced by the funky angle. I like this shot alot. Bumping up to an 8. |

I am a fan of the tilt thing, but I'm afraid others might detract for it. The vivid green and blue of the sky is wonderful together. 7 |

it's really nice to see a picture like this when you look through so many pics that aren't at all creative. a really refreshing composition. |

I love it. It should have been the Microsoft Desktop. The dark blue sky fading into light rocks, and the lush greens. D00d! |

Love this image, very fresh, great sky, framing and angle.
Bumping this up to a 9 (and a Fav)...
Great shot, should be well into the top five I feel.

This image has a lot of impact. The colors of the sky and grass are nice and vivid and I really applaud the creative angle. 8 |

Hey, your horizon isn't straight. Heheheh. Nice colors, not sure if the angle adds anything to the shot. Might be more dramatic/appealing were the tree lined up on the corner to corner diagonal axis here. But, it certainly gets a nod for creativity. |

I like the color treatment of the sky and the skewed angle is an interesting choice. I'm curious to see why you chose to do this. I'm not sure it adds to the photo... |

The angle works OK to me. The clouds make the photo even more graphic. |

what a nice sky, nice tree, and darn nice grass...and I do understand the use of unusual crop at times. However, i feel like your tree is about to slide off the monitor. Unless you have object on left and right lower that you want to delete why not have this a normal crop? lovely images but I'm not sure about having to lay over to look at this shot. 5 for meeting challenge 7 for grass, tree and sky...so I'm giving the shot a 6..gl in challenge :-) |

a little bit of tilt is annoying, but a real tilt is cool. best of luck with this off-beat image. |

Oh, beautiful shot. I love this, but this is going to get HAMMERED for being so tilted. Would have done better points wise if the horizon was flat, but, I love this photo. |

Strange angle but it seems to work well due to the strong lines in the image and that triangle in the lower right corner, which anchor subject perfectly. I would love to see this angle used with a tree that lean more in one direction which you could further enhance using this technique. |

I am not fond of this extreme angle. I think the photo is strong enough to stand on its own and doesn't need the unnecessary "gimmick". |

Cool shot.....but the tilt ruins it for me. I think this would be a winner with the right oriention and crop(IMHO) |

"WOW" this is cool, and I love the angle of this one. as it gives it so much more punch, depth, and boldness.
The streaky clouds, look so good against the sky as well..... |

This got my attention! What was your thought process that led you to tilt it? It's effective but I'm not sure why. Maybe just because it's different. |
