This is a sample of the Australian colors of gold & blue of our country. A true "Aussie" landscape, with our much loved eucalyptus gum trees, nestled alongside a billabong.

To me, this has a real nostalgic feel to it. Reminds me of the photo's you'd see that were taken in the 60's, the colours had a certain quality and tone to them...Beautiful shot, well done.

I love the colors in this one. However, I find the yellow of the grass in the bottom of the shot is slightly too bright. Great use of complimentary colors! I actually like to see the tree where it is, as its branches perfectly frame the building in the background. Beautiful shot!

I would move the tree to the right futher as the branches extend to the the left and lead you to the picture. putting the tree at one third doesn't work as great here.
the right of the tree doesn't add much and is a distraction IMHO

I too get the aforementioned "extra sharp" contrast feel to this image. Perhaps a shallower depth of field to make the tree stand out a little more. Either way, I saw the thumb nail, figured it couldn't be anywhere but home and thought I'd leave you a comment. A great image regardless.

I had the same thought that is was oversharpened. Or maybe a touch too saturated ?

The gold tones are absolutely stunning - this is gorgeous.
