As always, thanks for the votes and comments.
BTW: The subject of the challenge was 'flight', not 'show as much detail of a bird as you can' :) |

The white border is a little to much IMHO, it seems to clash with the white clouds. I wish the birds were a little larger also. Nice shot otherwise. 7

I think this would be more striking in mono - it would be more atmospheric. The sky is 'too blue' and the birds are not detailed or interesting enough. |

Beautiful blue hue in the sky really adds interest to the picture. Contrast in the birds against the sky really help bring them out of the shot. A lot of people might complain about the landscape but I like it. It gives scale to the image and give the picture an immense or larger then life feeling. Great shot. Excellent frame choice. |

Difficult to critique this one. Artistically, this has some interest, but on a detail level... (well, there's very little detail of the birds). The clouds seem a bit over-exposed. I like showing the horizon and the sky is a nice pretty blue, but those are the "good" points. 6 Rob the Swash |

Nice composition even if the birds are a little too far away. The contrast between the ground and clouds and blue sky is great. There is a slight magenta tinge in the clouds in the lower right corner. |

The composition is great, but the image, much too soft. |
