Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - good. Did you try any tighter crops?
Technical Aspects - good
Meets Challenge - yes
Visual Impact / Originality - good

Good pic could have been centered a little more but bonus for the Creed reference!

Good subject. Good exposure. Unfortunate paper box placement.

hm. yours is one of those long descriptive titles. not sure i'm a big fan of those. anyway. the truck is quite a find for this challenge, good catch. i'm wondering whther you could've made it a little more interesting by zooming in on part of the truck, like just the cabin. this way, with the road and the poles and that, it has that 'snapshot' kind of look, sorry. b&w works well here. -- gr8photos (5)

This old girl isn't dead yet :) I could be mistaken here, but it looks like this old truck has one of those chain link steering wheels :))) I like the black and white here but I think you may have over sharpened a little maybe... if you look at some of the diagonal lines in the photo, you can see some jagged edges... this is sometimes caused by sharpening... good shot :) - jmsetzler

I suspect there are better angles to take this, perhaps a couple of meters to the left, to get the telegraph poles dissappearing into the picture, and to bring the sign/mailbox thing into the picture.

Wow, this looks right out of Route 66. Great capture. I'm not sure I would have centered the truck in the picture or not. 8

If it weren't for the paper boxes, it would look like it was getting ready to roll out onto the road, which would be a touch of irony. Nice shot. karmat

black & white ruins this picture

Very nice b/w shot but I would have tried to get the truck central, bit harsh I know, otherwise very good

It looks like it's still in useâ€Â¦ Only gripe, I think it should have been more central; you've cut a tiny bit off the bumper. Hope that doesn't sound too pickyâ€Â¦

Nice subject ... but I would've zoomed in a bit closer to eliminate the environment. The focus is on the truck and should not be on the stop sign or the mail boxes, right? I think it would've been a bit more visually interesting to only see a certain part of the truck.

this just looks like a snapshot. If you really think about it and give it some more effort you can do better than this. The first problem is the time of day. The sun is high so whatever is lit is really bright and what ever is in shadow is dark. Go retake this picture early in the day within the first hour of sunrise or in the evening right before sunset and you'll have a better picture. The shadows are also very hard and defined. I'm not sure whats to the right but a picture of the front of this truck, close to the grill and to the headlights would have been a great shot.

Tighter cropping or a different angle would have been better. Get rid of the modern street and the newspaper boxes. Nice idea.

I've done several of these old relics. I find they're more interesting if you have less background. Use close ups of different sections of the truck.

nice old peice of crap! i think you could have shot it in a different angle to get rid of the mailboxes...unless there attached.

does anyone still drive that???

Nice old truck.Getting closer to eliminate the signs, poles and wires would have helped. It also looks a little muddy for black and white.

Does the title have anything to do with the lyrics in a Creed song? ; )
Nice shot, definitely looks old.
