Looks a little over-sharpened.

Not bad. Did you do sharpening? The bird and tree branches seem to have halos?
More cropping also would have helped. 6

Nice composition. Looks a little oversharpened - not too keen on the bright outlines of some parts. I like the colourisation, nice editing.

Nice shot, but with the number of close-up, detailed shots of birds in flight that have been entered it needs something more.

I like how you have used the tree to try and show the bird "Above it All" I think if you were able to show him in relation to the ground it would be better. Change from horizontal to vertical, I think that would give the photo more sense of height.

I wish you had gotten your main subject to be larger or closer. The composition of your picture is good. The tree, the bird and the sky work well together. Just that the bird is so far away is a pity.

The tree distracts from the shot. Cropping out the tree would help. It seems to overwhelm the image of the bird. The blue of the sky helps to make the bird pop out of the picture.

You did meet the challenge. However I just think it's a bit boring. The composition is okay.

I think this should be a vertical, unless the tree is growing horizontally.

Yikes, much too much sharpening. 4
