Yes - another zoo shot. I knew it was going to rain so I thought we would go to the zoo and maybe catch a good Heron shot or something. Instead I have this of Aidan hiding under a massive umbrella. I also took my Abstract Macro shot of the tiger this day as well. I dont expect this shot to do great, but I like it - so in it goes!

Post processing - levels, saturation , USM a coupleof times, NI a couple of times, gaussian blur a couple of times, crop, border, resize for web.

Nice shot, Tim. I love rainy day shots, maybe because we never see rain here so I have to enjoy it through pictures. I think the only thing this is lacking, other than your trademark 6+ score, is a bit more sharpness in the umbrella itself. I suspect just a wee bit of camera shake depending on what your focal length was for this shot.

I love kids under big umbrella's. LOL. You're more daring then me, I'd never take my son to the zoo in the rain! I didn't vote in this challenge but it probably would have gotten a 7 or 8 from me.

I thought I was the only one who headed out to the zoo for every challenge :) You can't even tell you're at the zoo tho, and this is really awesome! Perfect for this challenge!

Good composition. Would like it cropped a little tighter on the bottom. A bit too much noise and could use slightly sharper focus on umbrella.

nice colors, and I really like the reflection of the umbrella.

This is cool. attractive because of *not* seing the small one. That leaves a sense of involvement.

Not bad, good reflection and the colours on the umbrella really pop. I think that having the red side turned to the camera would have been better, creating a strong point in the image...

the colours seem to be a little over saturated, but nice reflection.

Bright colors, good reflection, the joy of a child playing in the rain ...great combination!

Nice shot but I wonder how it would look with a little less saturation.

I like the way the reflections show the colours in the umbrella that are not obvious when we look at the umbrealla - great idea
