Like the motion of the gents on the guardshack. Like the way the buildings are lit up compared to the ocean, too.

We had advanced editing - I think cloning the cable running from the roof of the little house out would have greatly improved your photo as well as darkening the sky. I love the colors of the buildings in the background as well as the motion of the person . Your crop and focus are nice too. Good luck to ya!

each object is a word: stairs, shed, man, motion, star, city, beach. together they create a sentence of impossible beauty and elegance. 9

The buildings in teh background are interesting and vibrant. Sadly for me that makes the forground part a bit dull.

I think I would have removed the motion blur from the person on the dock to give the whole shot a quiter feel.

Great idea, great composition, but the difference in brightness hurts it in my opinion. The contrail in the sky does as well. I would have removed that from the picture and brightened up the right hand side just a little to make up if the difference. Also the buildings look a little over exposed as the lights in the windows are starting to blossom a bit too much. Dont take this the wrong way though... I really like what you did.

an interesting scene...good colors...a bit noisy though, and I'd prefer the skyline be more sharp
