Critique Club Review:
Focus and depth of field are good. Color, contrast, saturation and hue are good as well.
I think you've already heard about the biggest problem, the finger. Nothing in the title, or in your comments, gives the viewer any reason for the finger, except to hold the disk for the photo. This being the case the finger overwhelms the colors of the disk.
If the finger was intended as the subject, I would suggest lighting it from the opposite side. We are left looking at a finger mostly in shadow. |

Hmmmm. Going to have two camps on this one. Those that like the finger there and those that don't. Personally, I think it's distracting. A paper cone could have done the job if it had to be lifted? Just a thought. CD's always produce some cool lighting effects. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
