Taken outside the stables where my youngest daughter takes lessons.

My girls just threw a ball back and forth and I took about 30 shots trying to get one to come out semi decent to play with. When my youngest saw the finished product she came up with the name, said it looked like an eye on the clouds.

I cropped, sharpened, resized, lightened and played with the hue a little bit

Nice idea, but the ball is out of focus.

I have my monitor calibrated, but this looks a little dark. Looks a little noisy.

i think that i would like it better if the beach ball was not centered - what i mean by that is off to one side would imply that it had to be moving within the frame to get to that point, centered as it is it kind of has a motionless feel to it. that said, its a good take on the category and a good subject to use.

the subject does look a little on the dark side - maybe a lighting effect overall might bring out the subject a little more - or possibly next time waiting for the sun to be on it more.

good, original effort. 6

Nice color, but the photo is a bit grainy (varing color in the blue sky) and the ball is not very sharp. Nice idea, but maybe a lot more tries.....5 Rob the Swash

Original, however the ball is out of focus and too centered. The sky and clouds make for an awesome background texture.

Wish that the there was more contrast in the ball. I could see a lot of different colors in it, but it tough to see. The blue sky with the fluffy clouds really help to add interest to the shot. The composition is good. I like that the ball seems far away. Gives more of a flying sensation.

The clouds add an abstract look to this. The ball looks a little soft and it's too centered. You get creative points for doing something different. 6

Well, the object in flight is not very sharp or clear, and well, it is not very interesting in its composition.

for this viewer there are two problems - central image is just too small to carry the image and secondly there is a lot of pixilation
