 More flowers from the boquet I bought on Sunday. Figured I'd get my money's worth out of 'em. And yes, I know there will be TONS of flowers and those that do them well here will do them very well. I kinda liked the composition of this and I like the back blackground (black velvet, by the way.)

Post processing - crop, levels, hue/sat, color balance, selective color, smart sharpen, resize.

Okay I really like this one not sure why it didn't score better. Focus and lighting is good, but some people do not like it when the forground is out of focus so that may be your problem here.

Fits the theme well, average subjects though. Great colors, but if all the flowers had been purple, this would have popped more. Focal is good, but overall an average shot. A 5.

Wow. I'm surprised that this did not get a higher score. The composition is beautiful. I love the yellow and purple and the great DOF. Very well done...from one of your thirty-five 7's.

Hey Deb. I gave this a 5 in the challenge. I felt it met the challenge and was ok but against somepretty heavy duty competition. I think maybe a slightly different layout without the yellow flowers could have helped. Colors are nice and the detail on the center flower is sharp, but overall a big lack of WOW. Black velvet is pretty sweet for backgrounds though isnt it?

Nice job again. I love your colors! I gave this a 6 in voting. The composition is very nice. I think if all 3 purple flowers had been in focus with the yellow flowers blurred it might have done better.
