I suppose to give this a good critique I would have to imagine someone not quite so beautiful as the model which is quite difficult i must say.

Ok. The backdrop comes across nice, not being too lighted being black. The lighting is perfect on the model lighting up all of her to include the cloth she tossed in the air. her skin tones come through nicely and nothing is blown out. In all it is a very beautiful image that is deserving to be hung on the wall.

beautiful shot. excellent lighting and appealing pose from a beautiful model. the placement of red "dupatta" is very dynamic too. excellent work.

Critique Club Review:

Excellent picture!

Focus is excellent. Color saturation and hue are very good as well. The reds look great, and the skin tones are nice and natural.

Nice job making her hair stand out from the back drop. It could have very easily blended in.

About the only thing I see here, is that I wish the back drop were a little darker. As it is I an see some detail there, folds, and some sort of blemish or object to the right of her right hand.

All in all an excellent picture that I feel should have scored higher.

Red on black looks great. I like the energy produced by the scarf. I might have cloned out the bit of hair on her face. Overall, good composition and lighting.

very good. nice capture. only thing...levels! i can see those folds in the corner! I know not all screens are calibrated the same way, but thought i'd let you know. The red shawl or what ever it is is amazing. too bad the crop is so tight uptop. Also...was isn't she in the middle?
