Too much empty space on left half of photo. Perhaps a closer crop of the head with that raised eyebrow look wook evoke more emotion for the viewer.

A welldone pet portrait, lucky you have a tolerant dog! My Great Dane certainly would NEVER sit still more than 10 seconds, and as soon as he hears the motor for the AF on the lens, he runs (he's seriously scaredof everything).

Great clarity and focus. I think the crop is a bit off. Makes him look chopped off. What if you had cropped it so all we see is the face? Hmm Just a thought.
