The eyes are sharpened, that's all. There's a central register of numbers that are tattooed in cats' ears, so strays can be returned home. Cats with collars can have nasty accidents, hooked up in trees etc... It's not part of the Final Solution.

This cat has glorious green eyes. I'm wondering about his ear. I'm sure it's my monitor, but those black marks actually look like numbers 6251! LOL.
