I love how wide angle lenses can distort things like this. The cat looks like he'd be three feet tall if he stood up. :) |

Oh, now I have to try that with my long black cat.
(I once had a cat named Thomas. He started out as Thomasina)

That lens is tempting and you give me another reason to think about it. Living in NYC I find I am always not quite wide enough and mostly with 135mm on a crop body long enough. I was toying with the idea of the 24-70mm but worried that it would not be long enough... and then toying with the idea of the 24-105mm and thinking about it being only f/4.... decisions decisions and oh so little $$. But your Thomas photo is a nice one to consider. |

Very cool portrait - I love the effect the lense had! It seems very fitting for the cat, you've somehow made him/her look more graceful and sophisticated. :) |

Hahaha...this is great. (Mine are more prone to stretch width-wise.) |

Nice angle and perspective. One of those images where a tilt adds to the composition. Great job! |

I like the perspective on this one. Kind of reminds me of the Sphinx, but stretched. |

Amazing result from just the angled your used to shoot this one.....
I think this really suits this image perfectly..... I especially love the tail, up in the air. |

I like how kitties get all stretched out and with this angle, it emphasizes it. He's fantasizing about winerschnitzel. ;~D |

Wow, does you kitty play basketball? :D
Great shot with the wide angle lens. Like the composition, especially the tilt. I'd love to get one of those or a fisheye lens to try some extremely wide shots. Good job! |
