I really enjoy this one - showing how empty LA is at night. One suggestion - your "(cheezy) tripod" sort of made a small earthquake on the right side - what if you cropped in on both sides to make it a "portait" shot instead of "landscape"? It would also help emphasize the verticality of the open space between the builidings at the end of the road. Might also lend some of the "big city" "skyscraper" feel which, of course, LA has very little of (none, compared to NYC!).
Awsome exposure and colors! |

Wow, so busy! But then again, not really for the LA area, it's been a few years since I've been there. I like the time exposure and the car lights and street lights came out about as close to perfect as you could ask, but the building lights, especially on the right of the shot just really didn't seem to come out right to me. I love the colors and the cropping is wonderful, the street brings you in on the right and takes you right through the shot. |

Crap... how am I supposed to win any challenges when I keep giving out 10s -- oh sure... they're deserved, but that's not my point... I want to WIN! OK, enough whining... This is the 3rd or 4th 10 I've passed out, and this is so far, the best of them. Your image is great -- I love the colors cast by the varous lights and a nice use of the star filter. Overall lighting is spot on. Well done -- but next time, take it easy. I want to win sometime, OK? |

Nice capture - lights are great. Buildings look a little tilted to the right. Good luck. |

Congratulations... you make LA look much nicer "downtown" than it really is. Guess that is the mark of a good photographer! |

This is probably the crispest set of timed exposure headlights I have ever seen! Way to go. |

A tad of counterclockwise rotation would have improved this shot. Otherwise very nice and pleasing. Definately shows urban. 8 |
