AWWWW. How darling. I like the unusual way he's turned back - makes for a very interesting giraffe portrait. Isn't their hide just got the neatest design? Love their long velvety tongues too. |

I like this shot a lot. The neck and turned head create really nice lines through the image.
As far as the composition, I think that it would work better to have the the giraffe farther to the right in the frame, so that it wasn't looking out of the frame. Everything just 'feels' tilted to the left at the moment.
The tones seem a bit muted, but I'm guessing they are true to what you saw at the zoo. I'd be tempted to bump the sat/cont up a bit to see what that did the the image... Just a thought! =]
