 I thought I would venture out and see this wonderful Provincial Park I have so often heard of. It is situated in the shadow of Montana's Sweetgrass Hills, a stone's throw north of the US - Canada border in Southern Alberta. The day was heavy overcast, there were intermitent snow flurries and the light was downright dismal. I walked down an embankment to find this fella washed up on a pile of debris at the edge of the Milk River. I suspect the morbitity of the shot will be enough to supress my score but I thought the shot to be eerily fitting with the mood of the day and the harshness of the surroundings. I also thought the haloween season might shine kindly on my theme but at the end of the day .... I like the image no matter what. Shot with a circular polarizer in an effort to extract whatever color was available.

Nice shot with a good angle. A little more contrast may have helped IMO
