 I found all of the comments about my photo to be quite humorous. I am well aware that it does not belong in the "ducky" challenge, but I wanted a critique because this photo moves me, and there is no none-challenge way to submit that I know of. This was taken on the shadow side of the structure on a sunny day. Adjustments included, sharpening, contrast, and slight level adjustments. Very slight color enhancement was also used. Thank you.

Yeah, I'd agree it's a well-deserved brown ribbon if you were just looking for a critique. There really is a *point* to having a challenge, and there are free studies you could enter... or just post it to the forums if you want critiques.

The free study would have gotten you a more photographically-targeted set of critiques instead of the current crop of "where's the duck?".

The light is fairly ..interesting, in an odd looking kind of way, what distracts me is the part in the centre just above the light line where the bricks are "broken" by some dark lines. That could be real (gaps) or introudced (during resize or similar).
