I gave two 10s and this is one of them. Gorgeous picture. Your processing makes the picture. |

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL - well done indeed. As a fellow Melbournite, you've done the tradition of rowing on the Yarra proud! |

Lovely, and definitely invokes "morning" for those of us who remember early morning practices and races. |

There's just something about this that I love. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but there is something...or maybe many things. The duotoning is great and I really like the white areas that some would say are blown out. Well, thet are blown out, but it really seems to work. This should really be a Top 10, if not a ribbon shot. |

Cool and different. I love the action and the duotones & contrast. Nicely cropped. Back to bump you up to 8. |

Nicely high key while retaining just the right amount of inbetween tones...the water has this wonderful three dimensional quality to it...well done. |

great crop, contrast and lighting...but who knows if this has to do with morning. all you need is an ascending/descending sun or coffee mugs in each of their hands for example. |

Never mind the question; How does this answer the question, "What does morning mean to you." ???
After looking at many of the challenge entries it seems that my take on the challenge is at odds with the majority. :D
This would have been a nice entry for the HC II challenge. I like your choice of composition. It gives a nice feel for action and motion. Good luck in the challenge. |

nice but if the boat (not sure of the proper name) was at more of a diagonal it might be more dramatic |

The composition is great, but I would have really enjoyed seeing a version of this that wasn't so heavy on the contrast. |

8: Nice use of the strong light to be a positive in the shot rather than a negative |
