To me it is the composition that makes it. Nice work. |

Good macro. You know the dirt on the glasses doesn't bother me, shows their natural state (I don't wear glasses but everyone I know who does complains about their dirty glasses). |

Nice idea and good lighting - but as others have pointed out before: The background could have been better and the glasses cleaner... |

I think you did a good job, and look forward to seeing some more of your work.....
I agree that it would be a good idea to clean whatever one is taking a photo of, especially with "macro", as they show up ever little bit of dust or dirty mark.
I have lost many a macro because of this.
Today I went around with a small paint brush, to dust off all the odd marks, and cobwebs, before taking my shots.....
We live and learn everyday..... |

stealing my ideas, i see...
anyway... i think this would have had more impact if there was less distraction in the background. maybe coming in at such an angle so that the table/wood grain was the only background element/color... |

Lot of potential here. The colours are beautiful, rich. Light is good. What's the thing in the background? I think it would be good to clean the glasses for this type of image, as these macros show all sorts of little dust particles. |

I love the color scheme here, nice warm browns and muted greens..
If the lens (glasses/not camera) was cleaner it would have been really sharp!
Anyhoot, I still dig it.. |
