This has been done before, I know, but I wanted to try it. The four bristles that I chose to keep green were the only ones in focus and I thought if I kept the whole picture in color it washed out those clear four and it lost its focal point. I am very happy with how this came out.

Aha, one of the best so far IMO. Bristles, I thought they were matches at first, but the colour seemed wrong. You did good here.

I love the selective desat. If you look just at the tips of the bristles it almost plays tricks on your eyes making you think the green are in front. :) Neet effect.

Love love love your dof, it's exceptionally effective!! Good use of the selectdesat too, uber huber nice!! This has 'hang me on an arthouse wall' written all over it, hopefully it's seen that way. Which means 'print this out and hang it in a conspicuous spot'.

Maybe a zilimeter more real estate on top for the crop, maybe not. Either way - well done!!

Nice and different. I promise I'll get a few "non-living" macros in this month!
