Wow, just like Reudi. . .after looking at your profile, it is aMAZING that this is only your first ribbon! You have stunning photos in your portfolio -- this certainly being one of them! It's a shame there can't be 3 blues because all 3 of the ribbon winners deserve to be 1st place!

Like a few other commenters this is such a beautiful nostalgic shot, I used to drive that route almost daily and saw this scene but without the beautiful light. Great capture and thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Thanks. If you look closely you'll see Big Ben is indicating it's 9.30...and at this time of the year that could only be morning!

| This is outstanding and the light really is at a nice angle. I'm an ex-Londoner and spent many a day cycling across that bridge. Now what I am thinking is that the light is from a more westerly direction than from the east. West is evening and east is morning, as far as I remember. It looks like morning to me yet the light is telling me evening. Tell me I'm wrong. Perhaps we'll not quibble about the time of day and just stick with the overall effect? OK, then 9. |
