I'd rather see the green in the leaves for this one I think - not sure if the B&W works to best advantage |

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject. Composition - good. Did you try a tighter crop? Technical Aspects - good. Sepia is good Meets Challenge - maybe, but I can't really tell Visual Impact / Originality - good

doesn't look like even the dog has lived here for a while. Thank you for giving the dog a little foreground to step out onto if he ever does come out of there. Nice framing |

It looks like a dog house. The glare between the trees and from behind the fence take away quite a bit from this shot. I wish I could come up with more comments that I could turn into positive ones, sorry. 5 Swash |

In doggy years I imagine this house is verry old. Composition, focus and exposure are all good. Choice of monotone with the greenish-grey cast is good for the something old challenge. Will a famos art collector buy a print and hang it on his galllery wall? Probablu not in your or my lifetimes but still a high score in my book. |

Is the dog still living there? If you stick your head in, I wonder if it will come out again? Nice picture, great atmosphere. I can't decide on the technical aspect, it could be better technically I suppose, but despite that I like the picture enough from the composition and challenge side of things to score it well. Great picture (8) |

lots of emotion in this picture I thought. I am a big dog lover, so maybe that's why I see emotion here. Poor Lucy... |

the colors tones in this really give it soem interest, and the brightness helps to downplay the fence. nice job. karmat |

Strange - it's in B&W but my brain is telling me it's green. Is that the leaves or is there really a hint of green in there? Either way it's a striking shot. But the dog house doesnt look all that old. |

A visible dog sleeping in the house would've made this a 9. |

I don't think I have any helpful comments on this subject... The focus is a little soft possibly... - jmsetzler |
