 Shallow DOF does not work here. The high key doesn't look high enough either, doh.

Nice! I've been working on a project doing this with each of my kids' eyes. I'm hoping I can tell them all apart when I get done. I love the desat with just the eyes colored.

I like the veins in the eyes and how clear they are... and the waves of color in the eye...

From your comments, I think I see where you were going.. this is nice in its own right though. Desat is done well, and the detail is fantastic. I like your vignetting too, works well with this.
