tone mapped from single exposure in Photomatix Pro, touched up in PS7. I actually forget the details right now, but it wasn't much. Some gradient on the top, a little hue/sat, desaturation sponge on the headlights, dodged the gull a little to crisp it up.
This was shot for the "wind" challenge and I love it, but I wasn't sure people would see it as 'windy" enough. This was in a 50mmph wind and a driving rainstorm, shot from within my car out an open window. Had to park the car at an angle to create a bit of a lee to work with. It was shot in mid-afternoon, so you can see how dark and oppressive this storm was. I actually had a bunch of other pictures to choose from this month, but this shot is so untypical of me and the others were SO typical of my best-scoring images, that I decided to go with this one just for the hell of it.
