I am Canadian, and actually noticed the man, but only thought he was checking his cellphone!
So naive! |

I think I would try to bring a little more life into the buildings in the background. I don't mind the man in the foreground, but from a scoring point of view, I think you made a mistake pointing him out. You have a bright, vibrant focus on the lower left quadrant. I'd like to see more of that in the train station, which is quite interesting. |

I did not really notice the man in this shot, so I found the title to be a bit odd, but thought "ahh never mind". |

Must be a European thing. Cause I've never seen such at U.S. train stations. |

I assume the man is the focus of this shot, but I had trouble finding him to begin with. It doesn't seem to give him enough of a presence to justify the title. |

Interesting. I think the man that you speak of takes over as the subject, and therefore I would need to see more to verify the title. 5 |

Life is always the spoiler, isn't it? As a piece of art this is a srikingly rich photograph. As a commentary it points out the poverty of our societies' response to real need. What a dichotomy for the photographer. |

Thanks to your title I had to hunt around and figure out what you were talking about. :D Kind of takes away from the core subject of the challenge theme IMO by directing viewers that way. Good luck. |

I liked this photo before I saw the title and subsequently saw the man. Personally I would have cropped him out. I'm drawn to the architectural beauty of the station. If the man was your intended subject or focus in the photo then a different angle or crop that makes him more of a focal point would have worked better for your title. |

I liked the photo, but did not see the man in the forefront - he doesn't add anything to the photo, and should have been cropped in my opinion. |

Hmm, definitely an interesting shot. Your title doesn't have a nice "ring" to it but it does point out what I would otherwise have missed. |
