Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Bokeh III (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Sony DSC-H5
Location: Studio
Date: Oct 18, 2006
Aperture: 3.5
ISO: 80
Shutter: 80/10
Galleries: Advertisement, Persuasive
Date Uploaded: Oct 23, 2006

The photograph was taken more as an experimental commerical photo for a logo, but the background was interesting, so I decided to enter it for Bokeh III.
Lighting - studio light behind me, the background is an optic fibre lamp, so it provided it's own light, black backdrop.
Exposure 80/10
F-stop 3.5
ISO 80
Editing - crop, soften, USM, resize for DPC, border. To use it for commercial, more editing is obviously needed, but this was a Basic challenge.

Heh. I thought I recognized that background! :) I voted this a 6.

Keep playing with it; I've had some good success with different uses.

You made a very interesting image of a not so interesting thing.
Though it is possible to spot your reflection on the tool, it is a nice image to look at.

Good use of fiberoptics. They offer a great compliment in color to your wrench. The bokeh is nice and balances out the image well. Maybe kicked down a tad darker overall would be nice. Good combination of two items that really have nothing to do with each other and making it work. A pleasant picture overall. Bumping up 1.

I like how the depth creates an "electrified" wrench.
