 Hope I have time to clean the window a little more and re-shoot this because the specks in the lower portion of the image bother me...light must cooperate, though.

Stuck a leaf to the inside of a window which is about 30 feet off the ground and looks out onto a thin forest of trees. Looking closely some of the window reflections are noticeable. I generally like the way it turned out...it's very close to my vision of how it would be. Took many images and sorted through to find the one I liked the best...this may have to do. Heck, it's got smooth bokeh and the much-talked-about circles...how can I go wrong? :)

Processing: rotate, crop, levels, hue/saturation, flatten, sharpen, resize for web, re-sharpen, bumb saturation for web (except yellow) and submit.

addendum: Turns out the specks are on the outside of the window and even if I had cleaned them off I couldn't re-shoot because the sun was not cooperative this afternoon. Oh well. I'm leaving it in because I'm curious to see if the image is strong enough to overcome a minor annoyance that would otherwise be easily fixed with a few dabs of the clone tool. I don't have high hopes for that...expecting my usual 5.6.

Cool title. Nice detailing on the leaf. Not overly unique, but the texture and color variance on the leaf is good. This has a nice simplicity, which many of the natural ones in this challenge do not.

Lovely bokeh, nice classic circles. Interesting shot. I think I see what looks like a piece of glass between the leaf and the background, which detracts for me a bit. Light is nice though.
