Great capture - not at all too personal. This is a good shot that captures some of [your son\'s?] character at the same time as meeting this challenge brief. Excellent composition and DOF - good use of mono. [9]

Slightly overexposed on the forehead and right cheek, apart form that a beautiful portrait, excellent use of depth of field. Good Luck.

Just wonderful. Somehow, the teeth really do stand out! Marvelous lighting and superb composition. 10!

A delightful capture of a child at play.

Yes, baby teeth certainly concealed and revealed.

Image wise - B&W does give this a certain something but the softness makes the effect lose impact. With the tight DOF I appreciate that the hand and pole would be OOF but the face IMO needs to be sharp and crisp.

A wonderful capture of emotion and the composition is spot on. The tight crop does not reduce the quality of the photo. The border does nothing for me though and it competes too much with the top of the head (8)

While the subject matter suits the challenge really great I think the picture could have technically been a little better. The forhead and parts of the cheek are too blown out.

Great idea for this one! This was a joy to view. Really nice b&w exposure. Love the expression. I'd pick this as tops.

YEAH!! What a happy baby! So sweet! I had this same idea too but my son would NOT co-operate! He loves to smile but it's a cheezy type when he sees the camera.

As for this shot, the black and white work very well for this shot, the top of the head seems just a tad bright and glares a bit on my screen but the overall lighting is very well done, I love the shadow that falls across the face and hand. I'm starting this shot at an 8 and will be back to admire some more!

Nice capture! Focus, composition and lighting bring the eyes of the baby to one's attention, not the teeth.

She is very cute. Gerber baby face. Un sure about the bottom, but I dislike the top with her head cut off.

Hmm, this feels like it was shoehorned into the challenge. Without the title, I'd be struggling to see the connection. 4

Good points:Like the b&w and the idea
Bad Points:too much cutt-off and overexposed in a lot of areas, mouth hand, cheek nose
Score:4
