Interesting subject, could use work on the composition to try to emote something or tell a story. |

I like the repetitive pattern formed by the posts; they seem to frame the other structures and give the picture some unity. |

I like the color in the sky in this photo. The blue gradient is nice. I think the composition may be just a bit cramped on the top left. Maybe a little extra 'breathing room' for the architecture would be nice here :) |

Wow, the work that went into this shot so you could take it! You must have been shoveling ash all week! ;) Just kidding, the shot is wonderful, the colors, the lighting, the way the pillers take you across the shot is fantastic. My only complaint is the modern buildings in the background, if you could have come at another angle where there were no buildings or such it would be perfect. I'm starting at an 8 but will be back. |

Good Points: great sky and lines
Bad Points:quite uninteresting really amd was pompei ever lost?

The angle that you chose helps to lead your eyes from the right to the left of the photo. Beautiful dark contrasted shadows on each column . The great blue hue of the sky frames the columns very well. |
