 This is an image of shape and form; the content being a leaf is only secondary to what I was trying to achieve ...levels, curves, layer adjustments, usm, cloned out a few hot spots and a small mark in leaf, cropped.

Interesting lighting, and I like the rich color. There are small spaces where there is great detail in the texture, and I wish that were true of more of the leaf.

This is one of my favorite photos for this challenge :-) It looks like a dancer. The title you chose really perfectly expresses what the photo says to me. Detail and lighting on the leaf is beautiful.

On your shoulder the fiddlehead shadow
plays until the darkness of the hollow
sound box rises from your lap to the grip
of your neck.

With a swoop of the bow,
you starkly denote the silence
that frames the adagio.
