 I am really not expecting this to do well. It certainly isn't a user friendly image but one that I am drawn to. Simply because that dress is mine..but it is being worn by my 9 year old daughter Kita. She is really beyond her years in so many ways. I am really expecting many people to think this is me...but I am not going to put anything in the title to explain that. I am going to let the photo speak for itself and hope people don't jump to conclusions.

So...let's see what happens.

Wow! This is awesome. To me it has the look of a ribbon winner. I'm so surprised this one isn't on the front page! It has a beautiful haunting feel to it.

beautiful shot and wonderful notes. only 9 and wearing your dress?? awwwww. so cute, and sad. my little girl is 5. It's so sad so think she may be that grown in just a few years. ;*( I need to go cry now......lol BEAUTIFUL SHOT!!!!

Lovely in black and white. I like the contrast of the stone against the softness of her dress and hair - both affected by the wind though quite differently.

Looks similar in location to the 'Oxymoron' shoot if I have my photographer straight. :) This entry here is fine overall. Nothing earth shaking. I think the main subject is not a large enough piece of the composition, and the theme of wind doesn't come to the forefront as it should. JMO of course. As a B/W the post-processing looks fine with nice contrast and range coverage. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
