 I've wanted to take pictures of this grass ever since it first started popping up around road sides and empty housing lots. It comes around this time of year and it's usually white, getting red as time passes. This empty lot across from our post box is the only place it's turned red already.

I set my camera on the tripod with the timer, and I sat in the grass flipping my hair every which way. I'm sure the cars passing by thought I was having a seizure of some sorts.

I was lucky today, in that after weeks of winter clouds and rain, the sky finally cleared up enough to make the grass shimmery, though sadly, you can't really see it in this particular shot.

I love this picture, congrats! The one think which bothers me about it is that her face and posture looks stiff, and she wears just a little too much makeup for this natural looking shot. Great colours and idea though!

i like it but your face looks very stressed as iff there is too much wind and oyur about to fall but if your face had been a little less stressed and more carefree i would absolutly love this!

skin tone looks a bit too red to me. otherwise, not a bad idea - she looks like she's enjoying the breeze.

There is something about her expression that is not so favorable. The photo could use more room at the top, it would be nice not to have her hair leaving the frame

I enjoy the unabashed melodrama of this. The soft focus helps you pull it off... and the colors! I love the colors. 7

Nice idea, beautiful woman, colors, flowers, hair, DOF, bokeh. The pose is good, but too bad her expression seems like she is freezing rather than enjoying the breeze. I like the idea and overall feeling.

Interesting photo, but the way her mouth is open isn't very appealing. The image is also a bit dark in my opnion.

Lovely photo but the looks on the girl's face suggests that she is suffering or in pain. Maybe that was your intention.

Now that's wind! The best overall windy hair potrait of the bunch. Combining good technicals with good wind. A very nice choice of location too.

really nice colours. great capture of wind expressed through her hair and the flowers /grass movement. her expression makes me think she's perhaps a tad uncomfortable & this is a little bit distracting

Nice color, great DOF, sharp and well focused. Something about the expression on her face is distracting, particularly her mouth - seems unnatural perhaps. JMO of course. Nice idea and well executed overall. Good luck.

This is my favorite image in the challenge. It has such energy and motion. This is miles beyond the models with fans shots as it has a location with actual wind, beautiful colors, and a beautiful model. 10

Excellent composition. The colors are vibrant and the expression is sincere and engaging of the challenge theme. I would have preferred to drop her a little lower into the frame if that was at all an option. It would have made her appear to have been standing and captured more of her hair. Other than that, top 10 for sure. Good luck!
