I can't believe I haven't seen this; its terrific, texture, the tilt, the black tree silhouette behind the willow leaves, fantastic! |

Thank you, folks! I didn't think this would do so well because it is kind of quirky, so I appreciate the high votes and kind comments. |

Congratulations on your top 10 Judith. Great wind entry plus what a great feel this photo has. Reminds me of Wizard of Oz with the house and the dark clouds. :) |

I love the tree, not sure if the tilt does it for me though, giving you a 7 |

I like the tilt. It exaggerates the wind effect and creates an overall disorientation appropriate for the challenge. Nice soft tones, too. 8 |

Nice combination of the tree in the wind and the branch covered building. B&W works great here for the challenge. |

This image leaves me feeling visually confused... and that in this case is a good thing. seems there's alot of contradictions here but to me they work beautifully togethjer. Hope you get very high marks for this overall because I do see this as one of the standout entries. |

Nice job of processing using B&W. The building seems like it's being sucked into the tree, even though the wind is blowing towards the right. Good expression of wind! |

Beautiful scene but I don't care much for the crop. I would love to be able to see more of the shot. What I can see is gorgeous, the lighting creates such an eerie mood, and the black and white completes it. Everything but the composition works for me. |

This is a beautiful moody type of image. Meets the challenge very well and the black and white choice is perfect. The house is a bit tilted, but I like it very much in this case. Sort of reminds me of the Wizard of Oz. |

Very nice - the tilt may be considered a bit disconcerting as it seems opposed in direction to that of the wind, but quite strongly emphasizes the power of wind, in a way. |

Really like the whole look of the photo. Great job with the exposure and PP. Pitty it's cropped so tightly. Was it possible to zoom out or move back some more? so the shed wasn't cut off. |

This has an eerie wind quality that really appeals to me...the old shack next to the tree gives an added dimension to the image; the tilting of the picture seems to work well giving a feeling of movement. |

The trees in the wind contrast perfectly with the stationary structure to the right. Very well done.
Something seems odd, though, about the clouds. Especially to the right of the image...Without those darker clouds (and if that's Mother Nature, too bad) this could be a front pager. Maybe it still will be. |

I love this photo... the way the huge tree is towering over the building... the strong sense of motion ( I can hear the branches whipping the garage) - the left part of the tree is the first place the eye is drawn but then the bend of the tree/branches brings the eye down to the shed... great choice of b&w - I love the post processing - great feel to this shot - 9 |
