 I was stalking this Great Blue Heron while he was fishing in Barnes. He did stay completely still like this for about 10 minutes, quite a contrast with everything that was moving around him.

The grasses in the foreground are distracting for me, though it looks like you got some good clarity on the bird.

i think it might be the water but it something sets me off balance when im looking at this shot. good work

The heron is a great yet elusive subject...I try to capture shots of them all the time but they fly off just when I get in range. The foreground is rather distracting in your image, and the whole shot has a blue tint to it that could be backed off with a blue curve adjustment, but I also know how hard they are to capture to begin with. Good luck in the challenge. :)

Very well seen and captured. I wish the heron was a little brighter and the whites a truer white (seem a little too bluish - minor color temp slide would fix). Good luck in the challenge.
