I like the bottom half a lot, but the light coming out of her head is a bit disturbing. A slight change of angle when shooting would have made this a lot better. |

good shot, there is alot of character in the models face. but i feel that the chandelier is too blurred and detracts from the image. |

Stunning capture of pride, strength and wisdom. The detail and contrast is exquisite. Even though the chandelier is blurred I keep going back to my original thought of what is that coming out of her head. |

Strong portrait, but I think the chandalier growing out of her head should be cropped out and the background cloned in above her. Nice processing. |

if it were not for the distracting chandalier above her, it would have been outstanding. |

This is a classic "chandelier growing out of her head picture). |

Really nice job on the woman here, but I wish that the chandelier didn't look like it was growing out of her head. I do like the hint of light that the chandelier reflects, but be careful to place it to either side of the head. |

Nice exposure and detail on the portrait. However, you need to look at your background before you shoot. Just a recommendation. The candlabra appears to be coming out of her head. That is not a good thing to have in a portrait. Your title is very indicative of the pic and I thought it was very appropriate.
One way to remove distracting background elements is to move the subject, or try shooting from a higher vantage point. |

i dont like the placement of subject under that light, looks like it is gonna fall on her head, and it is distracting to an otherwise good subject |

My first thought was why is the light coming out of her head -- oops. Otherwise a very nicely done portrait -- good lighting focus and exposure. |

the ceiling line and chandelier both going through the top of her head create a disturbing, dizzying sort of effect. But I'll give you a 7 for inspired weirdness. |
