 Here I've tried to capturing the beautiful canyon like appearance and fall color of this part of the Buttermilk Falls park. Taken at the DPC GTG, Oct 14, 2006. Hope you like it!

I was just scrolling through the thumbs in the challenge results page and this one caught my eye and I immediately thought "That's a Shapiro!" Congrats on a great image and 8/619 aint too shabby either. Way to go, Neil.

Gorgeous, lovely, serene and peaceful. I love the little hints of light on the rocks and the slight bit of color from the moss and leaves. Definately a favorite!

This is probably a very ancient waterfall. The etching on these rocks took years when the water flowed even higher.

That is one beautiful place. Easily the best of the waterfall shots I have seen so far in the challenges. Gets an 8 and I don't think I've given many waterfall shots that score before.

I'm having a terrible time judging the scale on this, but it's absolutely enchanting. The colors, the composition, and long exposure time give this a very smooth, refined look. I suspect it would do quite well as a print.
