That looks really good! One thing I find distracting though is the herbs scattered around the plate at the top, It feels like things are flying off the plate. 6
This image is absolutely inviting and appetizing! I feel that the presentation would have been just a bit better and maybe less "busy" if it was less of a close-up and more of the plate showed. Nevertheless, clarity and color are wonderful!
Though technically well done (maybe a bit too light) this image is boring because there is no focal point, no center of attention, no leading lines to give me a hint where I am supposed to look. The viewers eyes will wander around for a few seconds, find nothing to pay attention to and think "I'm done, next picture". In a contest like this where the voting is done very fast, you want something of importance to make the viewer linger long enough to notice that the focus is indeed very good and the food is fresh and probably would taste good. 5
I love this stuff, especially with bow-tie pasta in it. The only think I don't like about this salad is that it always looks dirty and I want to clean it, LOL! This is a wonderful shot, great colors, you can see everything involved and the dressing on the right and left look like tye are suspended. The only thing that gets me is the stray peice of cheese and meat at the bottom, I know nit picky but they keep calling my attention away from the rest of this delicious salad! A 9 from me :)
