I got the speed challenge alert while editing some of my other photos. I figured a self-portrait should probably capture what I spend most of my time (it seems) doing: late-night computing.

The hardest part of the shot was getting the two monitors color output close. I used a wallpaper image just for this purpose, and tweaked the color for each screen.

Minimal PP: ACR, Noise Ninja, clone out hot pixels, and resize.

The insomnia is so bad that it finds zero entertainment except blank screens and white noise. Bump.

the idea of this one is nice with the 2 white screens, but there's nothing in focus, unfortunately.

Your eyes must have been tired too. Nothing is focused.

Sorry, way too dark. The computer and half lit face motif is quite overrated and tends to be very uninteresting if not pulled off with a very unique concept. This unfortunately looks like an image that was produced, just to be able to put something in the challenge.

Good idea but the screen draw attention away from you too much

Excellent idea! I'd much prefer your face in crisp focus, and I'd have edited out that distracting highlight in the corner of the center monitor. In fact, the idea is so good that if this photo doesn't do too well in this challenge then you should reshoot it. With the face in sharp focus you'd have a show-piece image for your portfolio.
