Love this composition as it seems to have a secret story to tell..... Excellent things in this image bring it all together, to make it strong.....
The silhouette of the two people, the textures of the wall, the open door to the ourside world, all make this image an image to look at, and think about, and hopefully learn something along the way.....
I have, so thank you for posting this one, for us to share.....

Wow, wanna know something wierd? I found myself really intrigued somehow into this photo, after staring at it for a bit, and never really knowing what was holding my attention, I realized October 4, my youngest sons birthday. Just a coincidince, but a cool one nonetheless.

As for the photo, it is very, very cool, but again I can't put my finger on why I like it so much. The colors, and clarity for starters, but something else...I dunno. Nice job.

just a coincidince. I was going to enter this in the October free study but chickened out. This is my 4th edit on it. This was taken at Pipe Springs Fort in AZ. The last tour of the day and the light was great.

This image can keep the viewer looking for a while. The rich colors and textures of the wall materials are really nice. The silhouette is interesting - I think that I can make-out the man's eyebrows.

An intriguing shot. The quality of the light really brings out the textures of the wall. The shadows of the people are very sharp and crisp, color is warm and rich. As for what it says - to me, it looks as though the two people will walk right past the open door and not even look, missing out entirely on what seems to be a gorgeous view. It seems to symbolize what happens in everyday life all too often - the missed possibilities that are *right there* in front of us yet we don't see them or we ignore them in our haste to get from one place to the next.
