simple and effective. but not much in the wow department. doesn't appear as though it is jumping around instead it's very static and looks propped up just right for the camera. |

Macros of coins and other table top stuff rarely do well in DPC. We have all seen them over and over again. They are a favourite of the newcomers to DPC because they are a nice easy set up, something you can do in the kitchen or spare room.
They are really something to practice with, not something which is a competition image as such.
This example has blown highlights and hasn't really any great detail, the junction between the table top and the background also needs to be disguised somehow. |
