Very dramatic shot. Almost like two photos in one.. The calm foreground, and the dramitic sky.. Sweet! |

You've captured both movement (sky) and tranquility (water), with a lovely sense of expectancy through the luminous quality of both. I think the image deserves a higher mark. Beautiful. |

Great shot, love the mood and has the feel of an actual B&W photo from the good old darkroom days, I was one of your tens and thought it might ribbon, congrats on tenth place. |

A very good study with a sky that crawling upwards in all its beauty to frame the lovely subdued foreground. Congratulations on your top ten finish. |

The centered horizon is very unsettling. Very nice, otherwise. |

Ribbony, but I kinda like it anyway. There's a meditative stillness to it, and I love that guy on the horizon. 7 |

Could have been even better with a tad more careful composion, include more of the fantastic sky (it looks to centered) and pick out fewer stones which are not cut by the photo margin. |

Lovely shot and I bet this one was just as beautiful in colour! I admire you for submitting it in black and white because it is pure bliss to look at.

Very nice image. Very classical look. I think the black and white treatment was dead on. |
