This is the T-rex on display at the museum where I work. A few years ago we installed a smart lighting system that will que off of an audio show I produced. The name of the show is "The Rex Files" and explores whether this beast was a predator or a scavenger. When I saw this challenge I figured I'd try to get a shot during the show. This is my favortie one and I hope you all like it. (Remember, the tooth is out there...)

7. Well focused subject. Would prefer that background less so.

I don't find this image appealing personally because of the darkness of it, the way the darkness is playing on the bones makes them lose detail and so interest for me. I think capturing an angle where the lights highlight the head and teeth of the animal was a good choice, gives it a nice focal point for the eyes. I think its been framed in the shot well, but the overall tone seems a little flat/dull. All in all I gave it a 5.

not sure how this meets the challenge

The lighting would be perfect if the distracting background could be dropped out.

Great idea.
This is something that is so hard to shoot because of all the distractions and etc.
