 Shot this at the races...just wanted to enter a quirky image. I only had my point and shoot camera, so it was pretty hard to get anything great...

a bit of sharpening, noise ninja, grayscale and levels etc...nothing major.

Will it reach 5.5?

Just having fun...

POST: This did so much better than I ever anticipated...FROM A POINT AND SHOOT CAMERA! I mean, it did really well. Would have liked to have had no wrinkles in the image, but it was basic and they were there, so what do you do. I like the way the girls were just right there in the crowd that day, wearing their hats - this was NOT a posed image

I thought your timing was impeccable! A second later and the girl (who kinda mirrors the poster btw) would have blocked the hand and the comp wouldn't have been nearly as good. Way to go, congrats on your top 20 finish!

P&S cameras are perfect visual notebooks, IMO. You were free to watch the races, worry about the tote and observe all the lovely hats. Now try doing that with a D200 in tow... ;-) Nice work, Enzo.

aMAZING! I am in awe that circumstances fell together so well to get a shot like this. I'm always in the right place just minutes AFTER it was the right time -- always missing great opportunities like this :)

Intriguing picture. Would work really well for the next challenege... I was born in the 60's :). I like the b+w option and it keeps the viewer interested. 8.

This is an interesting shot but I think that the original photograph on the wall is carrying the shot too much.
