| Excellent detail on the subject. Very crisp and clear. The background color is nice, though the green thing is a distraction (even though its blurred out). Fits the challenge in general, and I get an abstract feeling of solitude - mainly because I know many don't like snakes so that would lead to its exclusion. Lighting is great. A solid image. 7 |

| I do like him... :-) But I think this snake has too happy face to be lonely. Twined up, hanging his head nearby he would look lonelier I think. |

| I like you. Snakes are cool. Owned a few myself. Anyway, godd composition and dof. The focus really helps the subject seperate from the background. |

Pos .. Superb macro shot!! The background looks amazin! I love the little smirk that snake has on his face - its so deceptive! ;) The focus, composition and colors are all great, excellent picture!
Neg .. It would be nice if that green blotch wasn't there..

| Snakes are often alone, people are often scared when they are alone, the snake looks scared. Good picture and unless that is a pet snake, I admire you for taking it. |
