I'm surprised this scored so well with that close-up distortion and "blown highlights" on the face... which of course is why I like this so much!

Very artfully done. I can't decide if I'd like it better without such a tight crop. hmmm - prob'ly not.

I like the shot, sepia, mood, clarity and even the slightly harsh light on the face but.....I'm not sure of the tight crop. Either way, in the top 25% for sure. Good luck!

face is too washed out in comparison with the hat, the spots also dont really go with this
