Thanks to everyone for the nice comments - I joined DPC a few weeks ago & this was my second entry. This was VERY last minute - submitted shortly before the challenge was closed.

| you lost detail in the shadow areas, the hat wants to tell the story but it isn't quite given the chance. |

| Nice lighting but there isn't anything grabbing about this shot. I'd say it is one of the better hat shots that doesn't have a person in it though. |

| nice b/w study. I would have liked to see more creativeness in the composition though - maybe less cropped off the right and bottom |
