| Lovely shot, but her expression doesn\'t give the shot much of an atmosphere of loneliness. The exposure is pretty good (apart from the odd burnt highlight), considering the range of tones you\'ve tried to capture. 6 |

| I think if she wasnt looking at the picture, then she would have looked VERY lonely. I dont think this photograph suggests loneliness. |

| Beautiful photograph. Excellent use of light, the black & white makes it even more powerful. Great focus, and composition. I don't necessarily see loneliness, but there looks like a sadness in her eyes. Fits the challenge well. What a wonderful image. 8 |

| This is a great portrait, sincere, well lit, interesting and expressive. Very nice. But what the hell is with the title? are you serious? Mexican Loneliness? what's next "canadian sleepines" or "nigerian anger"? minus two points for the name... |

| my reco would be to ask the subject for another facial expression...this one doesn't convey loneliness or solitude to me - she looks like she's about to smile. Having said that - and that's just my two cents - I can't read your notes on the pic, so maybe there is something to it that I don't know, so I won't factor that into my scoring. Technically it is a good picture. I enjoy the background alot, and the b/w aspect was a good choice for this category. |

| Great light. I love the light. The light is excellent. Ok, enough with the light. I feel that this is a great image. Nice composition, expression, and oh yeah, did I mention the light. |

| This lady although standing alone does not portray lonliness or solitude for me. It is a nice capture, however, I think the tones could be improved slightly |
