My "foolish" attempt at a self portrait, displaying my interpretation of the Song of the Year. (*Hoping that the voters are gentle on this old gal!*)

What kind of fool am I
Who never fell in love
It seems that I'm the only one
that I have been thinking of

What kind of man is this?
An empty shell-
A lonely cell in which
an empty heart must dwell

What kind of lips are these
That lied with every kiss
That whispered empty words of love
that left me alone like this

Why can't I fall in love
Like any other man
And maybe then I'll know what kind of fool I am.

What kind of clown am I?
What do I know of life?
Why can't I cast away the mask of play
and live my life?

Why can't I fall in love
Till I don't give a damn
And maybe then I'll know what kind of fool I am

A bit much on the neat image with the face. If that is what you used, try different settings and percentages to get just the right amount of smoothing without so much plastic look.

IMO the image suffers from too much Neat Image or similiar noise reduction. Also, not sure about the background. However, the composition is good.

I'm surprised this could be validated. The smooth skin is just, sorry, a mess.

I do not like the strange soft focus and waxy look of this photo. It just looks too odd for me.

too much "neat image" ... all skin tone is lost ...

a bit heavy on the neat image.under her chin seems to be too dark. the bottom right hand corner is also weird.

I am not a fan of the lighting

Nice idea. I'd love to see more of the jester cap and more contrast (and distance) between the subject and the bg. It also feels like the skin has been over smoothed (or your subject has the clearest skin I've ever seen ;) .) 5

Pity about the cyan on the whites of the eyes :-(

There is a bit too much blur in this for me, but the lighting is nice.

I'm sorry, but this amount of neat image (or equivalent post processing) completely ruins it.

Great idea, though I find the blurring around the hand a bit distracting.

The over processing of this image really killed it. It would have been better to use heavy makeup if you wanted an overly smoothed skin.

Way too much neatimage or something. It really smudged the details on the face, especially next to her fingers.

the light is too harsh, imho

Might have gone a tad overboard with the soft focus effect.

Nice expression and colors, although it looks a bit overprocessed to me ( too blurry ).

Is this noise removal or dodging intentional?
